King Salman, Crown Prince congratulate Putin on his re-election

— Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, sent separate cables of congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin on his re-election.

The King wished the Russian president constant good health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity.

King Salman lauded the distinct bilateral relations, which the two countries are keen to consolidate and develop in all fields.

Crown Prince Muhammad wished President Putin constant good health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity.

Putin won a record victory in Russia’s presidential election.

Putin recorded his best ever election performance with 76.67 percent of the vote.

Putin hosted King Salman for talks at the Kremlin last October, cementing an already strong relationship.
