RIYADH
– Saudi Arabia condemned the assassination attempt on Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah in Gaza on Tuesday.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of the attempt to trigger blast targeting the convoy of Hamdallah.

“This attempt undermines all efforts being exerted to achieve reconciliation among the Palestinians as well as to end their factionalism,” the source said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

The source emphasized the need to close the ranks of the Palestinians in a way realizing the aspirations of the Palestinian people and help them regain their legitimate rights.
