DUBAI - Indian actor Varun Dhwan is known for his roles in Bollywood, India’s vibrant film industry. The actor who was recently announced as the brand ambassador of Iconic in Dubai, took some time out to shed some light on his life as a successful actor.

“I think I’m very blessed, it’s not possible to be loved without the people. They are the ones who give you the power, they are the ones who celebrate you, they are the ones who love you more than something you understand or something that you can imagine; it’s totally beautiful,” said Dhwan.

The actor said he hopes that he can do something positive for the people who love him and affect him positively.

“Seeing the fans and their support and love makes me feel very good and I believe that it’s a good opportunity to be in contact with them.”

Dhwan also spoke about his upcoming movies, both slated to be released in 2018.

“We have a film called ‘October’ that was directed by Shoojit Sircar and we’ve finished filming already. I also have a film called ‘Sui Dhaaga’ set to be released also in 2018.”

Dhwan said he hopes to play the role of a soldier in the future. The actor said he was keen to show how much soldiers sacrifice for their countries and that much of what they do is unreported.
