Huawei launches first 5G chipset during the Mobile World Congress

BARCELONA
— If you are facing issues with your 4G and 3G network, utilizing cellular networks would be more efficient because of the 5G technology that will give the chance to mobiles to access a new generation of cellular networks.

During the first day of the World Mobile Congress that was held in Barcelona, Huawei announced first 5G chip.

During the Announcement it was mentioned that Huawei is planning to launch a 5G smartphone with a 5G chipset during the third or fourth quarter of 2018. The chipset is named Huawei Balong 5G01. The company illustrated that 5g will have multiple uses since they are aiming to create an ecosystem that support this technology and make it used in Care’s and homes not only mobiles.

What make this chipset special is that it is able to download data at 2.3Gbps since this chipset support the new 3GPP standard for 5G networks.

Richard Ya, CEO of Huawei Costumer Business Group, explained that the company invested around $600 million since 2009 in the field of research and development for the 5G innovation.

Huawei during the Congress has launched several and a full range of 5G End-to-End Product Solutions such as, C-band 64T64R and 32T32R Massive MIMO AAUs.

The benefit of these End-to-End Product Solutions is to deliver ubiquitous Gbps experience. — SG
