They introduced the traditions, cultures and habits of serving tea accompanied by a number of local and regional stores that serve tea and kits.

Dania Al Maeena, CEO of AlOula, said: “Tea Around The World” aims to present the traditions and cultures for serving tea, that has been known to be the second highly consumed beverage after water; this popularity has given light to tea parties to display the artisanal ways of serving tea, and it has become a key component in social gatherings in the Middle East.

“In addition to introducing the diverse methods and traditions of serving tea, we seek to support the programs of AlOula through this fundraising festival, which pays attention to the children of low income families located at the south of Jeddah, and all proceeds of this festival have been allocated to these children”.

The fundraising festival also included desserts often served with tea, and gave visitors the opportunities to enjoy shopping these products.

“Tea Around the World” began in 1964 and is now back with a new concept to exchange cultural and traditional customs for countries that make and serve tea. AlOula appreciates all those who participated and supported the event where all the proceed went to supporting the children

On its first day, the Fundraising festival was dedicated to women only while on its second day it was open for all families to enjoy the different activities such as cake design, arts and crafts and artisanal decoration.
