THE Sheraton Dammam Hotel hosted a Chinese Food Festival last week in its Asahi Pan-Asian Restaurant.
The hotel created a perfect ambience to match the occasion. The lobby was lit up with Chinese lantern and several Chinese insignia. The festival offered to its guests 12 authentic Chinese dishes to savor under a panoramic 360 degrees view 0of the city. The festival was a true embodiment of rich culinary heritage of China.
To capture the diversity of Chinese cuisine, the two Master Chefs of the hotel, Huang and Avelino Silleza , created 2 menus that included two appetizers, one soup, nine main course dishes featuring seafood, meats, chicken, beef, and vegetables, and a wonderful Sesame potato cake with ice cream as a dessert, taking in the influences of Cantonese, Sichuan, Shanghai and Beijing styles of cooking.
