24 education projects worth SR225m inaugurated in EP

Dammam —Emir of the Eastern Province Prince Saud Bin Naif on Sunday inaugurated 24 education projects built at a total cost of SR225 million.

The projects are distributed across eight governorates of the region, which include Al-Khafji, Dammam, Qatif, Al-Khobar, Jubail, Abqaiq.

Director of the Eastern Province Education General Administration Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mudairis said these education projects will accommodate 16,530 male and female students.

School buildings have been built as per the latest international standards and specifications, he said.

The emir also opened Al-Sayouti Education Complex in Dammam’s Al-Faisalya district apart from launching several new projects in the governorates.

Prince Saud also witnessed the signing of several partnership agreements.

The partnership between the Eastern Province Education General Administration and Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University was signed for development and training and benefitting from experts, conducting scientific studies and providing consultations, organizing forums and programs.

Another partnership between the Eastern Province Education General Administration and Al-Khinaini International Company was signed to establish an education complex and equip and furnish it to make it a model complex. The projects launched by the emir include modern school buildings and 10 sports halls.
