Saudi Airlines honors SGS distinguished employees

IN an event that took place at the headquarters of Saudi Ground Services (SGS), the leading ground handling services provider in all airports across the Kingdom, Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) recognized the outstanding performance and humanitarian efforts of three SGS employees who assisted and facilitated all the traveling procedures for an ill traveler.

The event, on Monday, that took place in the presence of Eng. Omar M. Najjar, SGS’s CEO, saw SGS employees Abdulrahman Abu Habra, Saud Al Bugami and Hattan Al Duaijei, being honored by Eng. Abdulrahman Altayeb, VP corporate communication, who represented Saudia on behalf of the airline’s director general.

“Customers are the core of our business; therefore, their satisfaction is very essential for us and we appreciate every employee that provides them with a good service. What SGS team did, is a perfect example of outstanding customer service. As a result, honoring them was important to express our gratitude for exceeding our expectations in serving our customers,” Altayeb stated.

“We have outstanding and highly qualified employees, who we are proud of, and we appreciate their great efforts for delivering an outstanding performance that reflects the company’s values. What they did in serving the special need passenger, is a clear evidence of their professionalism and commitment to their work even after the working hours,” Najjar commented.

The Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS) was established as a limited liability company in 2008 with a capital of SR500,000 in line with the strategic objective. In 2014, the company was transformed from a limited liability company to a closed shareholding company and in 2015 to a Publicly Listed Company, with an increase in capital to SR1,880,000,000.

The main activity of the company is to provide ground handling services and support services including passenger services in the lounges and hall services at airports including fleet services, technical services, transportation services, traffic control services, and luggage services in the 27 airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for many domestic and international airlines. SGS is keen to develop the relationship and continue to provide the best services and adhere to the quality standards and performance towards its customers. — SG
