DUBAI — Meraas, a Dubai-based holding company, has launched a promotional campaign across its destinations, targeting the influx of tourists from Saudi Arabia that traditionally visit Dubai in January during the country’s school holidays.

Running until Jan. 21, the wide-ranging promotion includes over 100 F&B, retail and entertainment deals at City Walk, The Beach, Boxpark, Last Exit, The Outlet Village, Al Seef, La Mer and Qasr Al Sultan. Nationals and residents simply need to present a valid Saudi Arabian ID to qualify for some of the best offers in the city.

The campaign supports the Tourism Vision 2020, the strategic road map that seeks to position Dubai as the first-choice destination for the international leisure and business traveller, and attract 20 million visitors per year to the city by 2020.

In addition, it aligns with the Dubai Plan 2021 that aims to create a smart and sustainable city of happy, creative and empowered people that live in an inclusive and cohesive society.

Top retail offers include 80 percent discount at Finnish home furnishings and fashion brand Marimekko and up to 65 percent discount on select products at Nike in Boxpark. Shoppers can also receive up to 60 percent off purchases at designer fashion and accessories brand Michael Kors, and up to 75% off select items at LE66 Concept Store in City Walk.

In addition, Saudi holidaymakers can benefit from great discounts on a broad range of F&B options from high-end dining at Galvin Dubai at City Walk to the relaxed sharing concept at Pots, Pans & Boards by Tom Aikens at The Beach.

Moreover, Valiant Clinic is offering amazing deals on dental work, while families can look forward to the buy-one-get-one-free promotion at The Green Planet — a bio-dome at City Walk that allows visitors to explore the flora and fauna of a tropical forest in an awe-inspiring immersive experience.

Meraas’s portfolio of unique venues offers a wide spectrum of experiences for all ages and interests. Urban lifestyle destination City Walk is a popular family-friendly neighborhood with a sophisticated ambience, burgeoning street café culture and high-end mix of over 300 retail and dining outlets, as well as entertainment options for little visitors, such as The Green Planet and Mattel Play! Town.

Combining urban lifestyle with seaside fun, The Beach features watersports, fitness activities, and a host of retail and F&B outlets, while Boxpark’s hip industrial exterior hides a treasure trove of quirky shops and eateries. Blending historic architecture with contemporary lifestyle in an unparalleled value retail and leisure proposition, The Outlet Village is home to a plethora of international fashion brands.

Al Seef gives visitors a taste of Dubai’s true heritage in the heart of the city, while La Mer is a world-class beachfront with a variety of shopping, dining and leisure options in a contemporary minimalist setting. Last Exit is a gourmet street food park with four locations, each with their own theme and entertainment, and Qasr Al Sultan offers an authentic Arabian hospitality experience with a glimpse into the glorious life of the sultans of Arabia. — SG
