JEDDAH — Banswada Ball Burners (BBB) upset Pepsi Deccan Knight by 5 wickets with 4 balls to spare and KAIA recorded 9 wickets win over Saudi German Hospital while Khurram Karamat’s scintillating 174 off 56 balls (17 sixes 9 fours) enabled ICAD crush Malik XI Star One by 116 runs to reach 2nd position after the 8th week matches of CTI SPL T20 3rd Edition high profile event, which is sponsored by Canadian International Trading Company and co-sponsored by Initial Services, Air India, Hyderabad Sharks, Khind Electronics, Arrow Food Distribution Company (Mizo Juices) and PEPSI (SIPCO) and organized under the auspices of Jeddah Cricket Association.
BBB recorded narrow win over Pepsi Deccan Knights by 5 wickets with Khawar’s stylish 62 runs. Khurram slammed highest individual score in this SPL enabling ICAD amass 295 for 6 to give them 116-run win over Malik XI Star One. Haroon scored an unbeaten 103 to give KAIA 9 wickets win, chasing a tally of 220 for 9 set by SGH. Arbab retained his Purple Cap taking his tally to 18 wickets with a rich haul of 4 for 31 and with Usman Butt’s unbeaten 51 and 3 for 24 gave Ace Travel a 7 wickets win against Pak Shaheen. Hyderabad Sharks capped the highest total of this SPL scoring 301 for 3 to win by 144 runs against a depleted ARM United with 8 players as Yasir scored the week’s 3rd century, unbeaten 115 and Mohammed Shezad’s quick-fire 89. Naseem Al Zahra marched ahead with a solid 50-run win over IGLOO Kashmir Stags thanks to Azhar’s elegant 76 runs.
