JEDDAH — Defending champion RTJ Baguio Transient House looks like it can’t wait to have another title run going as it won back-to-back Team of the Week awards in the newly opened OFBC (Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club) Friday Afternoon League Season 8 at the Iceland Bowling Center here.

RTJ finished the session two points shy of the perfect score at 30, and captain Joel Nidoy completed a Team of the Week and men’s Bowler of the Week double for his team with the high series of 610 on scratch games of 194, 199 and 199.

Crime Busters, a new entrant, made a good impression on the second week with a second place effort of 27 points.

SGH Bowling Group compiled 22 points on the day while Season 8 second runner-up Spareshots and Young Once tied on 17.

Season 7 first runner-up Lucky Ones continued to struggle, pooling a paltry 11 points while Forever Living brought up the rear on 4 points.

Fielding a lineup carried over from last season’s successful campaign, RTJ Transient House managed by Rudy Jamon drew 549 and 514 from Rico Bulalayao and Jack Jarin in support of Joel, while Darlene Bulalayao added 495 and Malou Nidoy 392.

Spareshots’ total included the 495 of ladies Bowler of the Week Carmen Duma, the 544 of Jose Antonio Bayag Jr., 471 of Danny Atubang, 447 of Sergio Modar and 436 of Alan Ornedo.
