I thank Allah and then our loyal security officers who were able to foil terrorists who were threatening the Kingdom. The terrorists were connected to Daesh (the self-proclaimed IS) and were targeting two buildings belonging to the Ministry of Defense in Riyadh. They planned to blow up the buildings. The Kingdom’s security managed to uncover the plan and identify a group of people who were working for foreign bodies and were attempting to undermine the Kingdom’s security and interests. They were all arrested and identified as being both Saudis and expatriates. However, investigations are still taking place to track down the rest of the terrorists connected to them.

The arsenal found at their hideout in the Al-Rimal district of Riyadh, which included explosive belts, bombs and firearms, confirm that these terrorists are still living among us. They are also capable of brainwashing our innocent children and involving them in their terrorist plans.

According to information from the Kingdom’s security officials, these terrorists have a long history of disturbing the safety of the Kingdom with their attempts to cause sedition and destabilize our national unity. Some of these terrorists were regularly engaged in direct and indirect terrorist activities targeting the Kingdom’s security. They have connections with some of the Kingdom’s enemies. Many of them had previously been arrested and warned to refrain from terrorism and from contacting terrorist organizations.

As parents, we should be aware that our children are facing serious challenges related to the terrorists around them and the different kinds of environment they might be in. Some parents may not be aware that their own children are surrounded by a group of suicide bombers, terrorists, criminals, drug dealers, etc. This means that families and especially parents should educate their children and warn them of the serious consequences of such activities.

The enemies of the Kingdom, with Daesh at the top, will continue to plan to destroy the Kingdom and destabilize our national unity. However, God’s protection and our rulers are going to put an end to them and expose all these criminals before more innocent lives are lost.
