MAKKAH —Al-Sahwqiya municipality branch in Makkah began an intensive cleaning campaign in several locations in the area, public streets and car parking spaces.

Mamdouh Al-Iraqi, head of the municipality branch, said that a field team was formed and equipped with cleaning equipment began scanning the residential neighborhood and cleaning the area.

They also began lifting the garbage from the parking space that was used as a parking space for pilgrim’s buses. They also began cleaning the areas that was used to slaughter animals.

More than 650 cleaning workers participated in the cleaning campaign.
