RIYADH — Tawuniya Insurance Company has published its latest booklet for the holy Haj pilgrimage titled “Safe Haj”. The booklet includes health guidelines and tips for the Haj rituals in order to raise safety awareness among pilgrims.
Tawuniya’s initiative is continuing for the second straight year in partnership with the Coordination Authority of Pilgrimage Delegation-Operator NGOs, as part of the company’s social responsibility activities and is in line with the government’s efforts to serve pilgrims.
The (Safe Haj) booklet was distributed to pilgrims as a gift to help them in performing their Haj rituals with safety and security. The booklet has been published in 6 languages namely Arabic, English, Urdu, Tagalog, Bahasa and Turkish.
It includes key information and advice to pilgrims in addition to awareness on the various guidelines and activities carried out by government entities working towards a successful Haj season and ensuring a safe, secure and stable performance of the Haj rituals.
On this occasion, Majed Ahmed Al-Bahiti, Tawuniya's Marketing GM, said: “God granted the Kingdom and its people the honor to serve pilgrims and this is noble message we all seek to achieve as a national commitment and religious responsibility.
“Tawuniya designed this booklet as a gift offered by the company to pilgrims to help them in following the government guidelines during Haj rituals to safely perform the pilgrimage.”
Tawuniya has also published an electronic version of the booklet on its accounts on social media. The booklet can be downloaded easily from there.
"The booklet has standardized and simple design, categorized into chapters to follow the Haj tasks and ritual steps and timeline. In addition to the health guidelines, it also includes a directory of health centers in the Holy Sites, emergency numbers, and dedicated facilities in Makkah and Madinah,” he added.
Al-Bahiti praised the role of the Coordination Authority of Pilgrimage Delegation-Operator NGOs in facilitating the booklet distribution. — SG
