Huraira and Moiz steal the show

JEDDAH — Abu Huraira of Zultec excelled with the ball by taking 5 wickets with a hat trick, Moiz of AOT scalped 5 wickets and blasted a match-winning 66, Afatb CC chased a huge target, thanks to Waqas Riaz’s 96, Mohammed Khan lifted ALS Warriors with an unbeaten 70, while Al-Safri and Waqas Malik triumphed in the Garameesh Rusk tournament, sponsored by Garameesh Rusk and managed by WPCA.

AOT defeated Red Sea ALJ by 4 wickets. Red Sea ALJ was bowled out for 168. Basheer smashed 69 in 38 balls, Maqsood made 16 and Bilal 18. Moiz was the main destroyer with 5 for 33, while Aqeel supported him with 4 for 38 and Faisal one wicket.

AOT reached 170 for 6 in 105 balls. AOT, after a shaky start being 34 for 3, found a savior in Moiz who made 66 in 41 balls as Naeem Shah remained unbeaten on 37. Maqsood took 3 for 52, while Nasir and Irfan had a scalp each. Man of the Match: Moiz of AOT.

Aftab CC downed IDB Group by 8 wickets. IDB Group compiled 207 for 7. Usman Gulab blasted an unbeaten 150, studded with 15 fours and 9 sixes. He first added 72 with Mohammed Farooq (11) and then 51 with Noor Butt (15). Waqas Riyaz and Danish took one wicket each. The team pulled off 4 run-outs.

Aftab CC reached 208 for 2 in 111 balls. Waqas Riyaz hammered 94 in 49 balls with 10 sixes and 3 fours as he added 129 in 62 balls for the opening stand with Shahid Sattar (36) and then 53 with Yasser Sattar (45). Imtiyaz and Ibrahim grabbed one wicket each. Man of the Match: Waqas Riyaz of Aftab .

ALS Warriors prevailed over APF by 5 wickets. APF produced 160 for 9. Ali stroked 30, Majed 29, Siddek 15, Omar 31 and Hasnain Ali 19. Safiuddin took 3-19, Faheem 2-28, Abdulaleem 2-36, while Ghulam Mustafa and Haider took one apiece.

ALS Warriors achieved 161 for 5 in 96 balls. Mohammed Khan remained unbeaten on 70 off 47 balls with 9 fours and a six. He added a match-winning 86 with Abdullah Essa (44). Akram, Nadeem Shah and Siddique took 1 wicket each. Man of the Match: Mohammed Khan of ALS.

Zultec crushed Emper perfumes by 9 wickets. Emper Perfumes posted 145. Basharat hit 40 and Sadiq Memon 55 in 38 balls to stitch 93 runs but once the partnership was broken, the innings fell apart by losing 9 wickets for 37 and to be 130 for 9 from 93 for no loss. The wrecker in chief Abu Huraira grabbed 5 for 19 with a hat trick. Wajahat took 3-24 and Zeeshan 2-23. Rabih made 11.

Zultec chased 149 for 1 in 84 balls. Waqar M. remained unbeaten on 72 off 43 balls with 2 sixes and 9 fours. He added a match-winning 114 in 61 balls for the unbroken second wicket with Shahbaz Rasheed, who remained unbeaten on 53 off 29 balls. Babu took one wicket. Man of the Match: Abu Huraira of Zultec.

Waqas Malik stunned SGMI Nestle Milo by 20 runs. Waqas Malik CC amassed 183 for 6. Tanzeal top scored with 62 in 24 balls as he added 65 with Fareed (25). Shahid hit 46 to add 51 with Tariq (19). Sherbahadur took 2-33, Osama 2-37, while Bilal and Irfan took 1 wicket each.

SGMI Nestle Milo was stranded at 163 for 2. Abdullah Zahid remained unbeaten on 67 off 37 balls. He first added 67 with Azeem (34) and then 52 with Mohammed Yasser (25 not out). Imran Sarwar scored 25. Razzaq and Maqbool got a scalp each. Man of the Match: Tanzeal of Waqas Malik CC.

Al-Safri humbled MCC by 6 wickets. MCC was bundled out for 95. Mohammed Ehsan stroked 38. Aftab Malik grabbed 3-17, Asad Shah 2-6, Usman 2-11, Manjeet Kumar 2-23 and Abdi Malik 1. Rehan collected 4 victims.

Al-Safri was home with 99 for 4 in 69 balls. Rehan Mughal smashed 43 and Aftab Malik an unbeaten 20. Abdulrehman took 2-21 and Ehsan Mehboob 2-26. Man of the Match: Rehan Mughal of Al Safri.
