JEDDAH — Jamoom Fighters, Al-Zafer, Makkah Eagles and ARM registered exciting wins over their respective opponents in the 3rd week matches of the Jotun Paints Saudi Cup, sponsored by Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

In other matches, Al-Burj, Butt Sports, Pak Shaheen and Pak Makkah recorded easy wins.

Jamoom Fighters struggled in chasing a small target of 139 before their last wicket pair managed to give them a 1-wicket over Awan Cricket Club despite Amjad’s 65 and 2 for 23 ending up on the losing side. Al-Zafer scored a narrow 16-run win over Kashmir Strikers despite Awais’ 72 runs. Makkah Eagles posted a 4-wicket win thanks to Malik’s fighting knock of 65. ARM sailed through with a 5-wicket win riding high on Nazeer’s consistent performance — this time scoring 35 runs. Al-Burj beat Kashmir Stags by 6 wickets through Usman’s fine all round effort of 50 runs and 2 for 37. Abdul Rahman’s solid century (100 — 9 sixes, 7 fours) and Omar’s stylish 88 (8 fours, 5 sixes) enabled Butt Sports score a convincing 160-run win over Makkah Kings. Pak Shaheen’s impressive 7-wicket win over Hyderabad Green was inked with an explosive unbeaten 87 from Usman with 9 fours and 5 sixes. All-rounder Saqlain took 5 for 21 to bundle out Riyadh Foods for 134 and scored 32 runs to give Pak Makkah a 6-wicket win.

Jamoom Fighters beat Awan CC by 1 wicket. Awan Cricket Club 138 all out (Amjad 65; Riaz 2-24, Azam 2-23). Jamoom Fighters 139-9 (Qasid 28, Azam 25; Mohammad 3-46, Amjad 2-23, Insha 2-39).

Al-Zafer beat Kashmir Strikers by 16 runs. Al-Zafer 184-9 (Kashif 25, Miran 28, Moosa 38; Farhan 2-44, Gauhar 2-12). Kashmir Strikers 168-7 (Awais 72 — 9 fours, 1 six, Anas 22; Abdul 2-24).

Makkah Eagles beat UT Lines by 4 wickets. UT Lines 195-8 (Shad 34, Abdul Rahman 27, Usman 25; Abdullah 2-21). Makkah Eagles 198-6 (Saad 44, Irfan 30, Malik 65; Abdul Rahman 2-36, Shad 2-23).

ARM beat Naseem Al-Zahra by 5 wickets. Naseem Al-Zahra 143-7 (Javed 50, Adnan 25; Ahmad 2-34, Atta 2-23, Mansoor 2-27). ARM 144-5 (Nazeer 35, Ashraf 37, Sami 26; Adnan 2-17).

Al-Burj beat Kashmir Stags by 6 wickets. Kashmir Stags 196-6 (Naseer 52, Danish 45, Aadil 21; Usman 2-37, Tahir 2-29). Al-Burj 197-4 (Usman 50, Rehan 43, Waseem 23; Wajid 2-32).

Butt Sports beat Makkah Kings by 160 runs. Butt Sports 266-3 (Abdul Rahman 100 — 7 fours, 9 sixes), Omar 88 — 8 fours, 5 sixes), Tauseef 30). Makkah Kings 106 (Imran 25, Usman 24; Zaman 3-13, Kashif 3-15, Yasir 2-17).
