SHARJAH — The Ramadhan Events section in the 15th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days has proven to be a hit with children who line up to catch live puppet performances.

The performances mainly depict Emirati heritage and culture with the puppets being used to engage and attract children. The group behind the event hopes to effectively strengthen children’s knowledge of their heritage and roots in an entertaining way that leaves with them with lasting memories.

Ramadhan Events is a Bahraini group specialized in converting ideas, stories or novels into puppet shows. The stories chosen for the event are written by the Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Almusallam and are implemented by members of the group Ramadhan Yusuf Abdullah, Muhammad Hani, and Muhammad Ali.
