IDC organizes annual meet for Muslims reverts in Delhi

NEW DELHI — Islamic Da’wah Centre (IDC), New Delhi, under the chairmanship of Mohammad Umar Gautam successfully organized its seventh annual reverts get-together at main auditorium of India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) situated at Lodhi Road, New Delhi, recently.

The program was presided over by renowned and legendary Islamic figure Hazrat Maulana Shah Qadri Syed Mustafa Rifai Jeelani Nadvi, a founder member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and assistant general secretary of  All India Milli Council. Dr. Syed Farooq, the chairman of Himalaya Drugs and Qazi Maulana Fakhruddin Ahmed Qasmi were the chief guests.

The daylong programs were conducted in two sessions. The first session was conducted at Jogabai Community Hall, Jamia Nagar, solely for reverts, who mesmerized the guests by sharing their journey and experiences toward embracing Islam.

The second session was conducted at the IICC where few of revert brothers and sisters were given the opportunity to speak about their experiences.
Speakers, including Dr. Noor Deshmukh (Delhi), Dr. Syed Ausaf Ali (Jamia Millia Islamia University), Maulana Najeeb ul Hasan Siddique Nadvi (Lucknow), Maulana Mohibullah Nadwi (Imam, New Delhi Jamia Masjid,
Parliament Street), Mufti Muhammad Mustajabuddin Mazahiri (Imam, Markaz Masjid Eidgah, Faridabad), Maulana Sagheer Ahmed Qasmi, Dr. Mufti Obaidullah Qasmi Sahab (Delhi University) and many others, threw light on the importance of Da’wah in the light of Qur’an and Sunnah and duties of a Muslim in providing the message of Islam for the guidance of whole mankind.
The concluding speech delivered by Gautam, who himself is revert, inspired the audience. It was a well deserving thanks-giving speech to all the guests, reverts, participants and volunteers.

The program ended with the du’aa of Hazrat Shah Qadri Syed Mustafa Rifai Jeelani Nadvi, who prayed to Almighty Allah for peace and brotherhood among people of all faith and real guidance for the whole mankind.
