THE role of our student clubs abroad for students on scholarships is to strengthen the bond between our students and to exchange experiences between their members.

One of their main objectives is to overcome the obstacles and difficulties facing students and to strengthen the relationship between the student and the cultural and educational missions abroad. The most important thing for these Saudis is to paint a positive image and to present themselves positively to the communities they are studying in.

They should take into consideration that they belong to a civilized nation and a country that is keen on developing their skills and scientific abilities that will help them later to achieve development and growth.

If these clubs are to play their positive role, then they should not isolate themselves by holding closed gatherings. What they need to do is to merge and interact with similar gatherings and clubs in the countries they are studying in.

These Saudi clubs abroad should not stand as a barrier between students and the culture of the country they are studying in. They should not encourage them to barricade themselves, otherwise their benefit will be limited to getting an education and passing exams.

The Saudi cultural missions abroad that take care of these clubs and finance them should extend dialogue bridges with the students over there and at the same time open new horizons and establish strong relationships with the students and other cultural missions in that country.

These clubs should work on enriching the students and help them gain knowledge that will help them later to achieve growth and development in their own country.
